Maccabi Tel Aviv is trying to qualify for the Euroleague Final Four for the first time since 2014. To do so, they need to beat Monaco in France, thus completing a 2-3 draw in this volatile quarter-final series. History is against the Yellows - on the eve of the 5th games in the top European factory, the away teams' record stands at 15 losses alongside 0 wins.
Still, Oded Ketch and his players have already won in Monaco - it happened in the first game of the series. The French responded with an away win at the hands of Elijah in Game 3, before falling apart and being defeated in Game 4. Now they're trying to bounce back in front of their home crowd and qualify for the Final Four for the first time in their history. The two teams have participated only once in a fifth and decisive game in the best-of-five Euroleague series, and both have lost the same game (Maccabi Tel Aviv to Panathinaikos in 2012, Monaco to Olympiacos last year).
