Despite the relegation battle, the Bayernliga club Hallbergmoos is planning for the new season at full speed. Now VfB have signed a top goalkeeper.
Hallbergmoos – The footballers of VfB Hallbergmoos are threatened with relegation from the Bayernliga. Until there is certainty about the sporting future, the club has to plan for the new season on two tracks. Sporting director Anselm Küchle can now at least put a tick behind the most important construction site: The club has signed a top goalkeeper in David Hundertmark (25).
Martin Dinkel goes on a journey
The situation has now been clarified: Keeper Martin Dinkel will go on a journey after completing his studies and will therefore no longer be available. But even without this departure, the line-up in goal would have been put to the test internally. Fabian Müske will remain on board as the second goalkeeper.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
The signing of David Hundertmark was obvious, especially since VfB had already courted the then goalkeeper of TSV 1860 München II a year ago. The 25-year-old then went to the Bayernliga top team TSV Landsberg and was a regular keeper there, but quit in the winter because of the too much effort. Now he is moving to Freising – and VfB Hallbergmoos fits perfectly into his life plan. Hundertmark has agreed to join the club regardless of the league.
New goalkeeper with Regionalliga experience
The keeper has a colorful vita. He played in the U19 Bundesliga for FC Bayern and then in the men's league for SSV Ulm (Regionalliga) and TSV 1860 München II (Bayernliga). He had been hired by coach Sascha Mölders in Landsberg to move up to the regional league.
