The city of Munich has postponed FC Bayern's championship celebrations. Many fans of the record champions will be happy about the reason.
Munich – On 27 May, FC Bayern would like to clinch the Bundesliga championship in order to end the season with at least one title. As Bild learned, the championship celebration on the town hall balcony was postponed. The day remains the same, but the time changes.

FC Bayern's championship celebration postponed
On 28 May, the FC Bayern players would like to celebrate the eleventh German championship in a row together with their fans. The supporters of the record champions are used to the celebrations taking place at noon or in the early afternoon. However, the city has scheduled the championship celebration for 17:30 p.m.
Advantage for the players of FC Bayern: After the game against 1st FC Cologne, the championship could be celebrated extensively. After that, unlike in recent years, there would be the opportunity to process the party night and sleep in the next morning.

Waiting for the women's team
The reason for the laying is a simple one. The FC Bayern players want to celebrate the German championship together with the women's team. They have their last game against Turbine Potsdam on May 28 at 14 p.m. on the FC Bayern campus.
The team led by striker Lea Schüller is currently in first place in the Flyeralarm Women's Bundesliga. With three matchdays to go, the lead over VfL Wolfsburg is one point. The ladies of the record champions will therefore give everything for a joint championship celebration.
Logistical problem – Is the balcony big enough?
It would be the second championship celebration after 2015, which the men and women of the German record champions would celebrate together. This would increase the stage for coach Alexander Straus' team. But there could be a problem with this.
Is the balcony big enough for both teams? Matthias Kristlbauer, press spokesman for the city of Munich: "The goal is for both teams to show themselves together.
