Recap: Real Madrid vs Malaga 90:102 (Sport1)
Maccabi Tel Aviv continues its race to build its squad. One of the Yellows' main goals for next season is to strengthen the front line, and voila! Sport has learned that Oded Ketch's team is in talks with Peter Corneli (27, 2.11m) in preparation for a possible joining.
The Yellows have opened talks with the Real Madrid forward, hoping to complete the move quickly. In addition to Corneli, Partizan Belgrade player Zak Liddy is also being considered, but the club is pessimistic as the Serbs are expected to extend the American interior player's contract. Therefore, talks began with Corneli, who is highly regarded by the Yellows.

Corneli, selected 53rd overall in the 2016 draft by Denver, failed to fulfill his NBA dream and continued his career in his native France. Last summer, he signed for Real Madrid and recorded his debut season in the Euroleague - so far he has averaged 5.8 points and 3.1 rebounds in 14.5 minutes per game in the best league on the continent. His best game this season was against Maccabi Tel Aviv, with 18 points (4 of 5 for 3) and 5 rebounds in 65:98 of the Blancos in the 17th round.
