A huge day in England. After Newcastle finished just 2-2 against bottom-placed Leeds, Manchester United beat Wolves 0-2 on Saturday night to clinch fourth place. Southampton lost 2-0 to Fulham and Manor Solomon and were officially relegated to the Championship.

The Red Devils are still not giving up third place. Anthony Martial broke the floodgates in the 32nd minute and put them in the lead, Alejandro Garnacho setting the score in extra time. At the moment, United and Newcastle are tied for 4th and 3rd places respectively with 66 points each.

Even before United, Newcastle knew a win would give them a lot of peace, but they couldn't get it. Log Einlig put Leeds ahead in the seventh minute, Callum Wilson converted (31, 69 on penalties) and Rasmus Nissan found the net and his team's equaliser in the 79th minute.
In extra time, Junior Firpo left Leeds down to ten players after receiving a second yellow. If that wasn't enough, a local fan burst onto the pitch and tried to attack Newcastle manager Eddie Howe. Security guards evacuated him and the game continued.
Leeds are currently 18th at the expense of Leicester (who will play Liverpool on Monday) and a point away from 17th-placed Everton (who host Manchester City tomorrow).

Southampton vs Fulham FC 2:0
A sad ending for the saints. After a falling season, another defeat sealed relegation, which had only reached two rounds to the end, but had been up in the air for too long.
Southampton were dropped by Manor Solomon's Fulham, who did not start and only came off the bench in the 78th minute. Vinicius (48) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (72) scored.
