Recap: Inter vs Sassuolo 2:4 (Sport1)
The 35th round of the Italian league on Saturday marked a direct continuation of this week's Champions League semi-finals: Inter and AC Milan are battling for the top-4 and a Champions League ticket, and the Nerazzurri are winning again, the Rossoneri are losing again and fading at the moment of truth. The cycle got underway last night (Friday) as Lazio drew a dramatic 2-2 with Lecce. Today, Salernitana surprised Atalanta and are on the verge of securing a place while their rivals pull away from Europe.

Lazio - Lecce 2:2
Four rounds ago, the Eagles still disrupted Napoli's plans to celebrate an early championship, but it was during that time that Lazio managed to record 3 defeats and a single win that dropped them to third place and embroiled them in the fight for a Champions League ticket next season. Against 16th-placed Lecce, Maurizio Sarri didn't expect to get into such trouble, and when Gabriel Strepza (23) missed from the white spot, he felt things were going his way. 11 minutes later, Ciro Immobile enjoyed an assist from Luis Alberto (34) and scored Lazio's promising advantage. Just before the break, Remy Uddin saw an opportunity to surprise with a kick from just outside the area and equalised (45+2). After missing from the white spot, Strepza gave a huge return with an assist for Odin who completed a pair (51) and was on track to give an important 3 points in the visitors' bottom struggles. Deep into extra time (90+5) Sergej Milinkovic-Savic kicked a rebound inside the area and slammed in the dramatic equaliser that split the points and secured another week for Lazio within the top four.

Salernitana vs Atalanta 0:1
Paulo Sousa's side are yet to secure their place in the league, but it may become official later in the evening given Spezia's 11-point gap below the red line thanks to a big win at home today, which helped them recover from Monday's loss to Empoli and balance two defeats in total in 13 games under Paulo Sousa. This time it surprised seventh-placed Atalanta thanks to Antonio Candreva's goal in the 90+3rd minute. It is also a kind of revenge for Salernitana, who were beaten 8-2 by Atalanta in the first round, who remain in seventh place following their second consecutive defeat and are embroiled in a fight for European tickets, certainly when it comes to the fight for the Champions League.

Spezia - AC Milan 0:2
Three days after losing to Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals, Milan continues to disappoint. Tonight she suffered a painful loss, which keeps her out of the top 4. Spezia have not won eight games in a row in the league, and broke the streak against the outgoing champions, who know that if they fail to return to the top four and fail to turn the bowl upside down against Inter, it means they will not participate in the Champions League next season.
Milan came close to an advantage, and even a controversial decision denied them a penalty, but in the end goals from Przymislau Wrzyniewski (75) and Salvatore Esposito (85) subdued Pioli and his pupils and complicated them. Spezia, on the other hand, has risen above the red line, and continues to dream of survival.

Inter vs Sassuolo 2:4
The Nerazzurri came into the game on top of the world after beating their arch-rivals 0-2 in the Champions League semi-finals before hosting AC Milan on Tuesday and kept the mood going with a home win.
Lukaku scored first in the 41st minute, and by the start of the second half Inter had gone up 0-3 with own goals from Tresoldi (55) and Lautaro Martinez (58). Sassuolo managed to slip away from two goals from Matheus Henrique (63) and Davide Fratsi (77) that put the Nerazzurri under pressure, but Lukaku completed a pair with a sweet goal in the 89th minute.
For Inter, it's a seventh consecutive win in all competitions, and they know full well that they can complete a perfect week by knocking Milan out of the Champions League for both this season and next.
