The weekend was fatal for all the teams that were playing the lead. It began on Friday with the defeats of Red Star (1-2 against Cholet in the 93rd minute) and Versailles at Paris 13 Atletico. In National 2, Fleury loses its leading position in Group B and Racing CFF lets go and lets Rouen access the National. In National 3, the first two, Aubervilliers and Linas-Montlhéry fell heavily. The poster of the weekend: beaten in Créteil, Fleury is no longer leader
Fleury is no longer leader of Group B of National 2. Habib Boumezoued's team lost (2-0, double Sakava Sangola) Saturday in Créteil, which had nothing more to play for in this championship.

Friday, FC 93 Bobigny had lost in Corsica in Furiani. After opening the scoring by Sissako (65th), FC 93 conceded two goals in the last minutes (83rd, 90th + 2). The new leader is Épinal, winner of Belfort (1-0). Épinal therefore passes in front of the two teams in the Paris region and becomes leader thanks to a better goal-average than Fleury. FC 93 Bobigny follows with three points. The match FC 93 Bobigny - Épinal on the penultimate day in 15 days may therefore be decisive.
The disappointment: Racing stalled in the final stretch
Just 15 days ago, Racing CFF had the opportunity to take the lead in Group A of National 2 by hosting Rouen. Saturday night it was the Normans who celebrated their rise in National. After its draw against Rouen (0-0), Racing lost in the last minutes in Saint-Malo (1-2) then against the reserve of Guingamp (0-1) after missing a penalty in the first half, this Saturday. Meanwhile, Rouen toppled Evreux, reduced to 9, scoring in the final minutes (83rd and 87th, 2-1) in a game played behind closed doors. Racing, now 8 points behind Rouen, stalled in this final straight. Eighteen years after his demotion (2005), he will not find the National.

For the fans, the disappointment is at the height of the hope that has returned in recent seasons and the arrival of Patrick Norbert as president. But this frustrating outcome will not erase the work of reconstruction. We must not forget that Racing was promoted this season and had not evolved in N2 since 2010... The hardest part is likely to begin, however, since many players like Arnold Vula (21 goals) have stood out and will inevitably be very solicited. In January, the best player of Racing Merwan Ifnaoui had already left for Red Star where he shines in National.
Player of the weekend: Zakaria Belkouche (Sainte-Geneviève)
Played in the Loiret in Montargis because of the suspension of the field of Sainte-Geneviève, the derby between the Essonnienne team and the Lusitanos Saint-Maur was crucial for the maintenance in the group B of National 2. Winner (3-0), Sainte-Geneviève comes out of the red zone (11th, 33 pts) and slides the Lusitanos (12th, 34 pts). Central defender Zakaria Belkouche scored twice (16th, 90th). His first two goals of the season are therefore very important.
Deprived of many players suspended after the incidents against Boulogne, Sainte-Geneviève can rely on the experience of Belkouche, 30, who has 78 games in National with Créteil where he stayed seven years (2015-2022). He arrived in September in Sainte-Geneviève after starting this season in Thonon-Evian (N2). But after taking a red card on October 1 against Besançon, he had received 8 games of suspension.

Already relegated, Paris 13 Atletico ends on a positive note its season in National. The Parisians won their 6th victory (1-0, goal by Jason Kikonda) on Friday against a very sad Versailles team who abandoned their last chances to play the climb in L2 until the end. Penultimate budget of the National, Paris 13 Atletico will have managed to win two derbies, at Red Star in September and therefore Versailles.
The flop: Aubervilliers and Linas-Montlhéry fall heavily.
It is repeated every week. The National 3 championship is incredible. For a few matches, the first three, Aubervilliers, Linas-Montlhéry and Vitry, no longer advance. On Saturday, we again witnessed rather surprising results with large successes of teams at the bottom of the table against the leaders. Aubervilliers totally went through at home against Les Ulis and lost on a historic 0-5. In the memory of Auber supporters, we had never seen such a rout at the Karman stadium...
But Linas-Montlhéry did not manage to take advantage of it by bowing, also heavily to the Entente SSG (3-0). Same for Vitry who drew (1-1) in Viry. With two days to go, the status quo is the status quo. Aubervilliers is still one point ahead of Linas-Montlhéry and four ahead of Vitry. Drancy, which plays Thursday against PSG, could even be invited to the podium if successful.
In youth: the broken dream of the U19 FC 93 Bobigny
It was the event of the weekend. The U19 FC 93 Bobigny played a historic qualification for the playoffs against Troyes. For this, they had to beat ESTAC. In front of 1,500 spectators in a melting Auguste-Delaune stadium, Karim Mazeghrane's players came very close. If they were joined (53rd) after having the entry score by Brayan Futgnia (4th) they were back in front on a goal by Samir Saib (2-1, 85th). But they conceded a penalty in the 90th minute (2-2).
