Recap: Juventus vs Cremonese 0:2 (Sport 1)
Most of the interest in Serie A in the final rounds revolved around the fight for Champions League tickets, and on Sunday night Juventus maintained their advantage in second place with a 0-2 home win over Cremonese. Roma, who like Juve are also in the midst of the Europa League semi-finals, moved up to sixth place with a 0-0 win at Bologna. Champions Napoli lost 2-0 at Monza.

Monza - Napoli 0:2
The Italian champions set several records as goals until the end of the season (a club record in points, the third team to reach 15 away wins) but in their second game with the crown on their head they recorded a historic defeat against Monza, in which they had never lost in a league (all meetings, of course, were in Serie B). Alessio Zerbin made his Serie A debut and started alongside top scorer Victor Osimhen who failed to improve his balance. On the other hand, Dani Motta celebrated in the 19th minute after a nice exchange of passes wide, and Napoli loanee Andrea Petagna was on the rebound after Pierluigi Gollini's poor deflection and netted his second in the 54th minute. Silvio Berlusconi promised a special bonus for securing eighth place and Monza's players remain attached to Fiorentina, who are currently there.

Juventus FC - Cremonese 0:2
Paul Pogba started for the first time in 390 days, but it lasted only 20 minutes before injuring his knee and leaving in tears. A very sad moment for the French midfielder who has begun to regain his form and now looks set to be absent again for an extended period. Cremonese recently recovered with 11 points out of 18 and hoped to take advantage of Juventus' two games against Sevilla in the Europa League semi-finals to surprise with a historic win (11 losses and four draws in previous league meetings), but succumbed to a beautiful goal from young Nicolo Pajoli in the 55th minute after Federico Chiesa had been prepared. Juve continued to press and paid off with a goal from Brazilian defender Bremer, who volleyed in from close range in the 79th minute, and now have a three-point advantage in the battle for second place. Cremonese may decline as early as the next cycle.

Bologna - AS Roma 0:0
Jose Mourinho has made his priorities clear, resting many players ahead of Germany's Europa League semi-final against Bayer Leverkusen. Roma are now six points clear of fourth place with only three rounds remaining, so their chances of reaching the Champions League through the secondary rather than the league are higher. Mila Savilar made his debut between the rafters and made three saves in the first half, while Andrea Belotti failed to subdue Lukasz Skorupski and substitute Tammy Abraham was also stopped by the Polish goalkeeper. Bologna can conclude a good season with Thiago Mota, Mourinho's former apprentice at the treble at Inter Milan who, like him, was recently mentioned as a candidate to return to Paris Saint-Germain as manager, but has been counting six winless matches.
