What an offensive spectacle in the 4-2 victory over SE Freising. This means that relegation is perfect for FC Schwaig.
Schwaig – After a thrilling 90 minutes, FC Schwaig deservedly won the derby against SE Freising 4-2 and thus secured their place in the league. The 350 spectators saw a home team superior in all respects, which missed many scoring chances.
The first came in the 2nd minute, when Markus Straßer shot just past the left post from eight yards after a one-two with Raffi Ascher. Freising waited for mistakes such as in the 7th minute. Domagoj Tiric put the ball into the path of Julian Kristo at lightning speed, but he was denied by the rushing goalkeeper Franz Hornof.
On the other side, Straßer laid off for Vincent Sommer, whose shot from 16 yards missed the target. Then Ascher with a heel and Bilal Ibrahim with a shot from the turn failed at the strong Jonas Trost. However, the Freising goalkeeper was powerless in the 39th minute: Ibrahim won the ball in Freising's half, laid it off to Mario Simak, who immediately served Sommer up front. Schwaig's number 10 danced out his opponent and chased the ball from 16 meters untenably into the short corner to make it 1-0. Then the last action before the half-time whistle: After a corner from the right side of Tobi Bartl, Ascher headed in unhindered at the five-metre area to make it 2-0.
Even after the change of sides, only FC Schwaig played. In the 50th minute, Ibrahim broke into the penalty area, passed to Sommer, who got rid of his opponent with a body deception, but failed from eight meters to the great reacting goalkeeper.
Those who do not take advantage of their opportunities will be punished. Maximilian Rudzki launched a solo from the left goal line, beat three opponents and scored from an acute angle to connect – a great goal. But the hosts were not shocked, on the contrary: Bartl played a great pass deep to Straßer, who crossed to Ascher alone in front of goal. Schwaig's goal scorer dusted off to make it 3-1 (56th). Now the hosts had chances every minute. First, Sommer took an Asher volley, but shot over the goal. Then Ibrahim forced goalkeeper Trost to make another brilliant save with a brilliant shot from 18 yards. And even Sommer could not overcome the SEF keeper with a direct acceptance.
In the 77th minute, substitute Luka Brudtloff got to the ball in the Schwaiger penalty area, but his shot went a metre over the goal. At the other end, Ibrahim Ascher played free, whose shot deflected Trost just around the left post. In the 89th minute, the visitors reduced the lead to 2-3 with a penalty kick by Brudtloff after a foul by Tobi Jell on Marcos Hones. Dani Fichtlscherer sent Ibrahim on his way, who ran alone towards the goal and was fouled by the onrushing goalkeeper. Ascher executed and established the final score with his third goal of the day.
