Lyon has its destiny in its hands
On the last day, LOU receives Bayonne, a direct competitor to the qualification. In case of victory or draw, Lyon will be in the play-offs.
In case of defeat, a bonus point will qualify Baptiste Couilloud and his partners if Bayonne does not take the offensive bonus.

Bayonne, one last feat
To become the first promoted to compete in the final phase of the Top 14 since Racing in 2010, the amazing promoted must win in Lyon. If, at the same time, Toulon dominates UBB with offensive bonus, the Basques must then win with the offensive bonus to keep the 6th and last qualifying place.
In the first leg, on December 3, Rowing won against LOU 19 to 7. This season, in the Top 14, Xavier Garbajosa's Lyon have lost at home three times. When the Bayonne are not the aces of the trip: 1 win, 1 draw and 10 defeats in 13 trips...
Toulon, the impossible scenario
By sacrificing its trip to Le Havre against Racing 92 for not having been able, over the course of the season, to stay in the nails of the number of Jiff on the match sheet, the RCT staff has greatly mortgaged the qualification for the final phase of the Top 14. A single scenario, incredible, would allow them to slip into play-offs.
It is necessary that the planets align by cumulating:
- a victory with offensive bonus against Bordeaux-Bègles;
- a four-point victory for Bayonne on the lawn of Lyon;
- the LOU does not take a bonus point.
In this case, the three teams would be tied at 62 points and, therefore, decided by the "points-field" (the direct confrontations between them). With two wins against LOU, one against Bayonne and a bonus point brought back from Jean-Dauger, RCT has 13 points against its two competitors. Rowing, which has 8, would have 12 if it succeeds against Lyon. A Lou team that has only one, with no victory against Toulon and Bayonne.
