Now it's official: Eintracht Frankfurt are bringing Omar Marmoush from VfL Wolfsburg to the Main. He signs a long-term contract.
Frankfurt – It has been rumoured for a few weeks, now it's official: Eintracht Frankfurt will bring Omar Marmoush from VfL Wolfsburg to SGE on a free transfer in the summer. The move is a good deal, which sporting director Markus Krösche was able to finalize early on. So he can join right at the start of the preparation.
What's more, the 24-year-old attacker has signed a long-term contract until 2027, which is certainly another plus. However, he will not meet his former coach Oliver Glasner, whom he knows from his Wolfsburg days, and Eintracht and the 48-year-old will go their separate ways from the summer.

Eintracht Frankfurt finalise Marmoush move: "Has already proven his qualities"
Eintracht sporting director Markus Krösche expressed his delight at the move on Monday: "With Omar Marmoush, we have been able to sign a player who will give our attack even more flexibility through his skills. Omar has already proven his qualities in the Bundesliga and at the same time still has great development potential. We are happy that we were able to win such an exciting and talented player for Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer," he said on the club's own homepage.
With the signing of Marmoush, Krösche is pushing ahead with squad planning for the coming season. Because in addition to the coach, some stars could also leave the club. The departure of Daichi Kamada, for example, has already been confirmed, and the whereabouts of star striker Randal Kolo Muani are anything but certain.
Marmoush a good addition to the Eintracht Frankfurt squad
Marmoush is therefore a good addition to the Eintracht squad. Marmoush has been one of VfL's top performers so far this season and has made 34 competitive appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals. He has made a total of 17 international appearances for Egypt's national team in recent years and made it to the final of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations, where the team was beaten on penalties by Senegal.
