France reported on Tuesday that Maccabi Haifa has made a tempting offer to Laurent Abergel and that the French-Jewish connection is expected to respond to it soon. The local media reported the interest a month and a half ago and according to today's report, the Greens are already in talks with his team Lorraine and Abergel is considering leaving France for the first time and joining the Israeli champions.
Abergel is captain of Lorraine and has a contract with the team until the summer of 2025. However, Le10Sport wrote: "Mekhi Haifa's offer is excellent, both professionally and financially." The report added: "Abergel is waiting to understand from Lorient what his plans are for next season before making a final decision."
Sources involved in the details said that Haifa had set Abergel as a main target for the coming summer and submitted a very high offer. The fact that the actor is Jewish increased the desire to add him and if he arrives, the chances of Dylan staying in Tobinsika will increase.
