The U16 basketball team of TSV Penzberg celebrated a great success. Both in the district league and the championship round, she dominated the action.
Penzberg – You have prepared specifically for the season, trained up to four times a week, were also diligent during the points round – and have been rewarded for it: The U16 basketball players of TSV Penzberg have secured the title of district champion.
TSV Penzberg finishes championship round in first place
The team of coaches Adrian Biniek and Patrick Pingel finished the championship round with 14 points (seven wins/one defeat) in first place in the table. The penultimate game was decisive, in which the Penzbergs defeated their biggest pursuer, TSV Ismaning, with 95:44. At the end of the season there was an 81:39 victory over TV Traunstein. The best teams from the West and East district leagues had qualified for the championship round.
The Penzbergs had already dominated in the West Group and finished first with a large lead over TSV Forstenried and TSV Solln. The team won nine out of ten games. Statistically, the Penzbergs scored exactly 30 points more than they conceded in each game. On average, they scored 76 points per game, while conceding 46.

The top scorers were Jonathan Beyer (averaging 28 points per game), Alexander Lotz (12) and Emil Klinski (12). The squad also included Leopold Riehl, Simon Sodbat, Kolya Moheysen-Zadeh, Neo Heller and Mattis Litzenberger. Two young women also played: Sara Cirkic and Fanni Seevogel. Caroline Lotz acted as team manager.
