No anti-City plan
Carlo Ancelotti (Real Madrid coach): "Our plan will be the same as always: to get the most out of the players, individually and collectively. But it will be a very demanding match, obviously. I think we can do better than in the first leg, but they also probably think they can do better (...) We are hopeful and highly motivated. We know it will be very hard tomorrow (Wednesday), but sometimes the difficulty helps us to get the best out of ourselves."

Real want to have the ball
Ancelotti: "In the first leg we managed to have possession of the ball and build from the back. City struggled to take the ball from us and that will be an important aspect tomorrow too, if we manage to get the ball and not them, we will be less threatened by them. This match will not be much different from the first leg. (He) pits the two best teams in Europe against each other and it will be as exciting as in the first leg."

Don't focus on individualities
Ancelotti: "When you analyse a team, you don't analyse a single player. It's not all about Haaland, you have to evaluate all the players. We will not have to control only Haaland, but all the players."
Luka Modric (Real Madrid midfielder): "(Vinicius and Rodrygo) have already shown last year that they can win us matches with their qualities, their ball technique, their audacity and their confidence. But the important thing is the team. If we are well focused tomorrow, united, if we fight for each other, we know that at some point Karim (Benzema) will show up, or Vinicius, or Rodrygo or another. But we have to stick together and stand together. That's the key."
