A day after setting an amazing Israeli record in the 200-meter mixed individual medley, Anastasia Gorbenko broke the Israeli record in the double distance, 400-meter mixed individual, in the second competition of the prestigious Mara Nostrum round held in Barcelona, with the participation of swimmers from the Israeli national team. Gorbenko clocked 4:40.76, finishing second behind Japan's Mio Narita (4:39.22).
The young swimmer improved by 72 hundredths of a mile the Israeli record (04:41.48 minutes) which she set in February 2020 in France. In the preliminary swim, Gorbenko swam 4:47.62, which was enough for her to move up from eighth place.
