Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat continued their NBA playoff magic journey Wednesday night, beating Boston to take a 0-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals.
"Damn yes I did it, damn we did it," the forward said when asked if the Heat expected to be in this situation before the playoffs began. "The most beautiful part about it is that we still don't care what any of you think, honestly. We don't care if you bet we'll win or lose, we never cared and never will."
Butler continued: "We know the strength we have in this dressing room, we know our coach gives a lot of confidence and belief in everyone. Our circle is small but he has so much love for each other. We guard defensively, we play basketball the right way, knowing we always have a chance."
"We don't care if you pick us to win."
