We don't have the date yet, but it's already a promising fight. This Thursday evening, Francis Ngannou accepted in principle a fight that may mark his career. The former UFC heavyweight champion, who has just signed with the PFL (Professional Fighters League), an American organization, will take part in a boxing match before returning to the octagon next year. As envisaged since January, it should be against the Englishman Tyson Fury.

The man with the four heavyweight world championship belts was looking for an opponent to his measure. After his unsuccessful appeal to various fighters (the Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, the Englishman Anthony Joshua and the American Andy Ruiz Jr.). "I've tried everybody, but no one wants to confront me," he said. His wish was granted: "I've been here all this time, Tyson. So if none of these boxers wants to face you, let's formalize the fight, "replied the Cameroonian fighter on Twitter.

The winner of Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, who remains on 34 consecutive victories, did not hang around to show his contentment: "Francis Ngannou, big porridge, I am your dad. I am the most dangerous man on the planet and I will give you the greatest volley of your life, you tramp. Sign the contract, you big idiot. Ngannou, nicknamed "The Predator" has already been warned.
