FC Pipinsried will play its last home game of its last Regionalliga season. The opponent is Wacker Burghausen, a team that suits FCP.
Pipinsried – For the last home game of the 2022/23 Regionalliga season, FC Pipinsried will host SV Wacker Burghausen this Saturday at 14 p.m. in their home Hazrolli Arena. The village club, which has been relegated for weeks, will appoint its founder and long-time chairman Konny Höss as honorary president.
With Wacker Burghausen, another sonorous name is coming to the Ilm Valley, after which the big names in the Dachau hinterland will come to an end. That's why player-coach Herbert Paul's team wants to throw everything into the balance again in order to score a three-pointer in the last home game. It could come full circle, because the last victory of the season came last October in Burghausen.
However, at that time there was a completely different Pipinsried team on the field in the Wacker Arena. In the here and now, the Ilmtaler have been plagued with injury worries for quite some time. In addition, Belmin Idrizovic and Faton Dzemailji picked up their fifth and tenth (Dzemailji) yellow cards respectively in the last match at SV Heimstetten (3-3) and are not available.
