Red Star Belgrade announced today (Friday) the signing of Barak Behar as the next coach for the next three years. The Serbian champions will pay compensation to the Israeli champions, who are expected to later announce the appointment of Masai as the new man on the lines at Sammy Ofer Stadium. The Serbian media have already begun analyzing Behar's style of play, complimenting his campaigns in Israel and Europe and emphasizing the issue of a salary that will triple itself in the Serbian capital.
"What is especially appreciated at the Maracana Stadium is that Barak Behar advocates a modern, fast and offensive method of play," the Serbian Korir wrote. "It's not self-evident to see a coach who demands to play football like this and not defensively or snooker. Behar is a top coach, why? In the football world, the language of results and titles is spoken, and that's exactly what Behar knows how to do. Red Star claim they made a good deal by appointing a modern, professional coach."
