Tension is rising in Dublin ahead of the Champion Cup final between Leinster and Stade Rochelais. An hour and a half before the kick-off of this clash at the summit (kick-off 17:45 pm), the atmosphere rose from a big point around the Aviva Stadium when the Maritime bus arrived. La Rochelle fans were present in large numbers in front of the Dublin stadium and they gave voice to encourage their troop.
This final promises to be volcanic in Dublin, on the land of the terrible Leinster who will aim for a fifth continental crown (to equal the record of Toulouse). La Rochelle, defending champions, will try to achieve an exceptional double.
Leinster fans have kept strong ties with ASM Clermont Auvergne, after epic confrontations a few seasons ago.
