Cremonese vs Bologna 5:1
Despite a marked improvement in the second half of the season, Cremonese will register a sixth relegation from Serie A and fourth in just one year. They are now six points below the red line and at a head-to-head draw against Verona, so a Spezia point tomorrow will officially drop them. Bologna ended a run of six games without a win and moved up to ninth place, their first league victory over rivals Cremona since December 1987 in Serie B and their first in the top division since June 1930. Marko Arnautovic rammed in in the 14th minute, Lewis Ferguson scored after a horn in the 27th minute, as did Stefan Posh in extra time of the half. In the 62nd minute, Riccardo Orsolini scored on a breakaway after a corner from the hosts and then was sent off (73), Nicolas Sansone returning from injury pinned the fifth (80) and Daniele Ciuffani only provided a consolation goal in extra time.
