Recap: Bayern Munich vs RB Leipzig 3:1 (Sport1)
Mons Dabur and Hoffenheim have known quite a few ups and downs in the 2022/23 season, but on Saturday the Israeli striker starred just when his team needed him most, with a goal and an assist in a 2-4 win over Union Berlin that ensured the Blues stay in Germany's top league.
Davor came off the bench in the 65th minute as Hoffenheim led 1-2, and in the 90th minute he set up Andrej Kramaric for the goal that should have secured the three points. Union shrank in the 95th minute, but four minutes later Dabur scored his sixth Bundesliga goal, ending his best season at the factory, also ending a three-and-a-half-month drought. In addition, Ex Maccabi Tel Aviv reached 160 goals as a legionaire.
"Davor redeemed Hoffenheim," we told the striker on his team's official website, after the rise in Money Time that kept them in the league, having only two months ago been ranked last. Coach Pellegrino Matarazo also admitted: "Things improved significantly after Mons Dabur came in, we controlled the ball well."

Hoffenheim sporting director Alexander Rosen said: "It was an explosion of relief. I would have done fine without this dramatic ending. We are entering our 16th year in the Bundesliga, it's an extraordinary achievement for this club."
