Esther Roth Shahamorov, the 71-year-old Israeli gymnastics legend, was released from Beilinson Hospital on Sunday. Roth Shahamorov received treatment at the hospital and is receiving continued medication at home. Later on, she will undergo a series of tests in the nephrology department under the direction of Prof. Ruti Rachmimov.
Dr. Eviatar Nesher, Director of the Transplant Department at Beilinson Hospital, said: "Roth Shahamorov arrived with a severe deterioration in kidney function due to acute rejection. She received medication at the hospital, we are waiting for the results of further tests."
