Sergio Yui has been responsible for quite a few big baskets in his career for Real Madrid, but yesterday in the EuroLeague final against Olympiacos the 35-year-old veteran star stepped up with a winning basket that gave the Blancos the title of EuroLeague champion.
With 3 seconds to go, the Spaniard threw over Mustafa Pal's outstretched hands en route to a dramatic 78:79, but on Monday night it was claimed by Barcelona fans that Yui's basket was actually illegal because even before penetrating the basket, when receiving the ball at the beginning of the move - Sergio took 2-3 small steps, detached his grip from the ground and actually made steps.
