The first: Montigny won a baseball title

BASEBALL. Montigny-le-Bretonneux won the 2023 Baseball France Challenge. In Sénart, the Cougars dominated the defending champion, Rouen, after a 13-set final. The competition was held from 18 to 21 May and brought together the 8 best teams from France. The Ignymontains have accumulated the honors since Yorfrank Lopez was voted best pitcher and MVP of the tournament.

In the semifinals, the Cougars disposed of the Templars of Sénart, who had also beaten Rouen, in the group stage.

The derby: Montrouge champion of France

The best field hockey teams gathered in Saint-Germain-en-Laye this weekend for the semi-finals and final of the France Championship. In the men's draw, Montrouge triumphed over Racing Club de France, who fell to Saint-Germain in the semifinals, after the shootouts (2-2, 4-3 SO).

In the women's category, the teams in the Paris region were less successful. In the semi-finals, Saint-Germain and Racing also had an appointment.
