Beitar Jerusalem and Maccabi Netanya meet tonight (Tuesday) in Sammy Ofer for the State Cup final - the game that concludes the 2022/23 season in Israeli football. Yossi Abukasis' team is looking for an eighth win in its history (the last was in 2009), while the Diamonds are on the heels of a second ever trophy, and first since 45 years. Even before the game, there was a lot of crowding in the entrances of fans to the stands and of Beitar Jerusalem fans in particular.

Dan Azaria started in the midfield of Avoxis, because Tamir Adi is not fit. Jordan Shua, Ion Nicolaescu and Danilo Esperia were once again placed in the squad, with Fred Friday, who is not 100 percent fit, waiting on the bench. The injured Max Grechkin is missing.

On the other hand, Ran Kozuch enjoyed a full squad, with Plamen Glavov fit and placed in the center of defence. Ido Weir was preferred at right back over Karam Jaber, Omri Gendelman and Liran Rotman are waiting on the bench and Patrick Twomasi (perhaps in a farewell game to the team), Oz Bilu and Stanislav Bilanki.
