For the first time in its history: The Denver Nuggets completed a stunning sweep over the Los Angeles Lakers Monday night to advance to the NBA Finals.
Nikola Jokic had 30 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists, and Denver pulled off an 113-11 Lakers victory en route to a resounding 0-4 victory in the Western Conference Finals. Jamal Murray added 25 points for the Nuggets, who overcame a first half in which LeBron James scored 31 points and came back from 15 points behind with a terrific final quarter.

LeBron finished with 40 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists, but even the NBA's leading scorer couldn't stop Denver en route to its sixth straight playoff win.
Jokic recorded his eighth triple-double in the playoffs in the third quarter, breaking Wilt Chamberlain's 1967 record for triple-doubles in a single playoff season. The Serbian also led the Nuggets' tenacious defensive effort despite picking up his fifth foul midway through the fourth quarter.
