Preliminary report: Tampere – Germany's national team has a place in the quarter-finals of the Ice Hockey World Cup completely in its own hands. After the 7-2 victory of the team of national coach Harold Kreis against Hungary on Sunday, rivals Denmark lost on Monday with 1:4 (1:1, 0:1, 0:2) against the group runners-up Sweden.
