LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers ended their NBA season Monday night after being eliminated in the Western Conference Finals in a painful sweep against the Denver Nuggets.
James once again had a tremendous game with 40 points, 10 rebounds, 9 aces, and 2 steals with a rare first half, but unfortunately it wasn't enough. King took his hat off to Denver and Jokic: "Denver is probably the best team Anthony Davis and I have met since joining the Lakers."
King James analyzed: "We had a good run in the season and in the playoffs, but we fell on the way to our main goal which was to win a championship."
Regarding his future, he sent an uncertain message: "On a personal level, regarding the rest of my career, I have much more food for thought."

Nikola Jokic, who won the Western Conference Finals MVP award: "This title is not important to me, it should go to my friends and coach. They put me in a position to succeed, I'm only first among equals here. We're growing as a team and as a club, it's really fun to be a Nuggets fan today."
Nuggets coach Mike Malone: "LeBron, Davis and Ham gave us a bit of a challenge today, but our guys believe from training camp. We're not happy yet, there's 4 more wins to do, but I love these guys.
"The most satisfying part of this journey is who accompanies us here. Great professional staff, great management and players who leave egos out."
