Vinicius Junior is not considering leaving Real Madrid and will remain at the club next season, coach Carlo Ancelotti stated today at his press conference ahead of tomorrow's game against Rayo Vallecano (Wednesday, 20.30pm).
In the past <> hours, Brazil's major media reported that the star is considering his future at the club due to the severe racism he suffers from in the Spanish league and as a result of Real Madrid's conduct in the fight against racism. As is well known, so far and despite a number of difficult cases from which he suffered, the handling of the case is very minimal and the local police took about four months to arrest this morning, at coincidental timing or not after the incident in Valencia, four Atletico Madrid fans planted an effigy in the image of the Brazilian before the derby.

In his pre-Rayo press conference, when asked about reports on ESPN Brazil and UOL that Vinicius and other players in the team are disappointed with Real Madrid's handling of the affair and that the star is considering his future at the club, the coach clarified: "Vinicius Junior is not thinking about leaving Real Madrid. He loves Real Madrid."
Ancelotti said of the Brazilian: "He wants to succeed here, he knows his future is at Real Madrid. He wants to stay and that's what he's planning, he wants to play for Real Madrid. He's sad at the moment, but knows he has all the support he needs from us at Real Madrid. Spain is not a racist country, but there are cases of racism and they need to be dealt with."

Vinicius later shared a video on his Twitter account from 1997, when Barcelona fans hung signs and chanted racist slogans against former Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos. "Racism on Spanish courts existed even before I was born, what has changed to this day?" wrote the Blancos star.
