After the tributes to Vinicius before the match against Rayo Vallecano (36th matchday of La Liga), this Wednesday, the Madrid Real continued their demonstrations of support to the Brazilian victim of racist insults on Sunday, during the match and after.
First there was the attitude of Rodrygo, scorer of 2-1 in the 89th minute, after a first goal from Benzema. The Brazilian froze and brandished his right arm in the air, bent, with his fist clenched, before sending to draw a heart with his fingers in the direction of Vinicius present at the edge of the field and absent because of pain in a knee.
After the match, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti gave news of his striker: "Vinicius is well mentally, all the support received in recent days has done him good. If he hadn't had that knee discomfort, he would have played. We'll see tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday how he feels, to make him play on Saturday."
"I didn't see, but it was a gesture of support, of camaraderie towards a teammate, who was a little touched by everything that has happened in recent days, from a player who is a great friend of Vinicius.

Ancelotti continued: "A lot has happened in recent days, and I believe that society, not just the world of sport, has become aware of something very important. This is a step forward, I hope that this subject will be resolved quickly. Everyone realizes what has happened, what is happening. I don't think that will happen again. There has been a collective awareness, things will improve quickly."
Finally, on the Spanish Federation's decision to cancel Vinicius' suspension, Ancelotti said: "This decision surprised me. Honestly, I didn't envision that this could happen. Their initial decision (Editor's note: the red card) was a mistake, they changed their opinion, and it seems correct to me."
