With the exception of the long-term injured, Thomas Tuchel can in principle draw on the full potential. But is that enough for the hoped-for miracle? The Bayern line-up.
Munich - On Saturday, the long-distance duel between FC Bayern and Borussia Dortmund for the German championship will take place. While BVB play Mainz at home, FC Bayern have to play at 1. And if you have a choice, you're spoilt for choice. At least that's true of Thomas Tuchel and his line-up for the big season finale.
1. FC Köln vs FC Bayern: Thomas Tuchel can draw on the full potential
In principle, the Munich coach can draw from the full, with the exception of the long-term injured Alphonso Davies, Lucas Hernández, Manuel Neuer and Paul Wanner, all of them are there - including Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. "Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting is ready. The reintegration has already started last week, he has completely participated in the last two sessions, without reaction in his knee. If it stays that way after the final training session, he will be in the squad," Tuchel said at the pre-match press conference.
But will it be enough for the starting eleven again? Tuchel didn't say anything about that, but: "It's extremely difficult to score goals and win in Cologne." A snapper up front could help, even if a start is unlikely.

FC Bayern at 1. FC Köln: Upamecano and de Ligt as a centre-back duo
As far as a possible line-up is concerned, the FC Bayern coach was less likely to show his cards than usual at the press conference, but said of the opponents from Cologne: "They have a lot of high ball conquests and come completely through the physical component." As a result, Benjamin Pavard could move back to the right, with Dayot Upamecano and Matthijs de Ligt forming the centre-back duo.
All those who might have hoped for a return of Lucas Hernandez to the squad, on the other hand, were disappointed. "Lucas has set a new record time in rehabilitation after the injury. It would be more than irresponsible to include him in the squad," Tuchel said.
FC Bayern vs. 1. FC Köln: Back to Sané and Coman?
Leroy Sané and Kingsley Coman could start together again, as they did at Schalke, then Sadio Mané would only take a seat on the bench again. It is not yet clear what will happen to him after the season, England legend Gary Neville cannot understand his situation. Serge Gnabry is currently set, the same applies to Yann Sommer, of course.

Will Manuel Neuer possibly come to Cologne? "I'm wondering if we'll take Manuel Neuer with us, I haven't thought about it yet." He wants to think about these thoughts in the course of the day. And maybe the currently injured captain of FC Bayern will be able to stretch the bowl into the Cologne sky in the end. (msb)
