Before the penultimate day of the championship on Friday (20:45), three teams can claim to be crowned champions and access Ligue 1.

Le Havre, quiet leader of Ligue 2 since the summer, seems won by the fear of concluding and has lost in the last two games before moving Friday to Bastia where the Normans hope to finally end the suspense on the 37th day.

HAC, who have 71 points and had not experienced defeat since the 2nd day, saw their lead over Bordeaux melt to two small points after their second and third defeats of the season, moreover without scoring a single goal. In 3rd place, Metz remains in ambush, five points from Le Havre and three from Bordeaux. Carried by their Georgian artificer Georges Mikautadze, the Garnets can still finish in all the places of the podium.

The HAC counts on Annecy

Whatever the results of his two pursuers, a victory in Bastia would ensure the HAC the climb. To win the title of champion, it is necessary to win and hope that the Girondins, defeated only once in their last 13 outings before going to Annecy (15th and concerned by the maintenance), will not do the same.

Even a draw combined with a defeat of their opponent is not enough because the goal difference has also melted (+26 against +25).

Caution is therefore required before going to Corsica at the 4th, which has just dynamited Pau (6-2) and will then conclude with a trip to Metz.

Le Havre can nevertheless hope that the trap in which it fell against Annecy in mid-May (1-0) also closes on Bordeaux. The Bordeaux dynamic, whose defense has been unbeaten since mid-April, seems however very solid.

Nîmes and Niort already in National

At the bottom of the table, Nimes and Niort are already relegated but seven clubs, who stand in four points, are still fighting to avoid the last two folding seats that send to National.

For now, Pau (17th, 41 points) and Laval (18th, 40 points) are in the red zone before facing Rodez (13th, 43 points) and Nimes respectively.

Amiens (12th, 44 points), Valenciennes (14th, 42 points) and Dijon (16th, 41 points) will face Quevilly-Rouen (11th), Grenoble (8th) and Paris FC (7th), all clubs that have nothing to hope for or fear.
