LeBron James isn't retiring so quickly, nor does he seem to be in a hurry to leave the Los Angeles Lakers. The King was mentioned as someone who would demand a trade to the Golden Straight Warriors, but it was reported Friday night that he is expected to continue next season with the Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron James and the Lakers lost in a sweep to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals, and in the United States there were many who raised eyebrows about the possibility of him continuing with the Lakers due to the fact that he will turn 39 in December and that he still believes in his ability to win at least a fifth championship ring. It now appears that he will indeed continue his 21st season in the best basketball league in the world and will do so with the Los Angeles Lakers under his contract that expires in the summer of 2024.
