Kwame Brown will forever be remembered as one of the greatest misses in NBA draft history. In 2001, he was taken by Washington with the first pick, only to post dismal career averages of 6.6 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. None of this prevented him from launching a rather bizarre attack against LeBron James, one that actually shattered every expectation and expectation that existed of him.
"If I had LeBron's jersey, I'd burn it now," the former player said, referring to how James ended the Western Conference Finals series against Denver — LeBron went to the basket but was blocked. "I've never seen a player of his level, so to speak—you can't even make a shot? You're probably the biggest scorer there is, you've scored so many points, and again you're trying to be saved."

According to Kwame Brown, Kobe Bryant would have won the game for the Lakers. Even Gilbert Arenas and Richard Hamilton, with whom he played in the past, would at least be able to get a shot in this situation: "You can't say you're great, and that you're doing great things, because that's where greatness is. You're just filling out the statistics page. When it comes to numbers, you're big. Throughout history, nerds are going to look at your numbers and say you were the greatest ever. People who have actually seen games know it's."
Another criticism was related to the flops James made (according to Brown) on defense: "I played with Michael Jordan. I've never seen MJ fall like this. Maybe you should go play in movies, go make a sequel to The Matrix and fall like that."
