Lionel Messi gives Paris SG the eleventh title in its history
For what was (certainly) his penultimate match with Paris SG, Lionel Messi will have been decisive. Indeed, if his team was not transcendent against RC Strasbourg Alsace (1-1), the "Pulga", it was able to make the difference in the second half of a beautiful strike in the penalty area, on a clever service of Kylian Mbappé. An achievement that, certainly, did not give victory to the Red and Blue - the Alsatians returning to the score through Kevin Gameiro - but which will still have offered them the eleventh title of France champion in their history!

Lens, twenty-one seasons later
It's done! Following its success this Saturday night against AC Ajaccio (3-0), RC Lens is now assured of finishing in second place in the Ligue 1 standings. The Blood and Gold will thus compete in the next edition of the Champions League, twenty-one years after their last participation. This qualification for the most beautiful European competition rewards several remarkable seasons and in particular an impressive 2022-2023 season.
David has nerves
Lille owes him a proud candle. Author of a poor collective performance, the Dogues nevertheless overcame Nantes, thanks to a double on penalty of David (2-1). The Canadian striker easily won his first duel against Lafont at the beginning of the second half. The sequence of the second penalty late in the game was more confusing. The Lille striker first stumbled on the Nantes goalkeeper, finally in an illegal position in front of the goal line. The Var offered David a new opportunity, which he did not miss. This decisive double allowed Losc to take fourth place, one point ahead of Rennes and Monaco.

Flops
Vitinha (still) can't do it
Starting at the forefront of the Marseille attack this Saturday night against Stade Brestois, Vitinha was once again disappointing. If he was - as usual - very active, the Portuguese was once again very clumsy ball at the foot, in his controls, his passes but also his strikes. He will therefore not have weighed as hoped. Impatient, Igor Tudor took him out at half-time. A new match to forget for the very dear winter recruit Olympian.
Monaco close to fiasco
Nothing is going well on the Rock! While the fourth place seemed promised in recent weeks, the club of the Principality is losing everything, and finds itself out of the European places before the last day. The defeat of the day in Rennes (2-0) may mark a decisive turning point in the catastrophic end of the season of the ASM. Like their last outings, the Monegasques have not shown anything good on the lawn of Roazhon Park. Quickly put in danger, they finally cracked in the second half and never gave the impression of being able to relaunch. The coaching of a visibly overwhelmed Philippe Clément had no effect on a team that no longer has its destiny in hand in the race for Europe.
The nightmare evening of Agbadou
Reims took the water on the lawn of Groupama Stadium, losing on the score of 3-0 against Lyon. Emmanuel Agbadou had a particularly painful encounter. Uncertain for this match, the Ivorian defender was finally a starter in central hinge, but he cracked in the second minute of play, scoring an unfortunate CSC. Not irreproachable on the second goal of Rhône, he finally returned to the locker room at the beginning of the second half, receiving a direct red card, for a foul on Lacazette who went to goal. The epilogue of an evening to quickly forget for the 25-year-old.
