Nikola Jokic's brother celebrates Denver's NBA Finals qualification with Michael Malone (from Twitter)
Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, who carried the Chicago Bulls to six championships in eight seasons in the 57s, are considered one of the greatest duos in NBA history. However, a black cat passed between the two who were so connected on the court, as there is a lot of tension between them that has only increased in recent years. The outrage mostly comes from Pippen, who argues that his importance to the Bulls' championships is relatively diminished, such as as the "Last Dance" series about the team's recent championship season from Illinois.
This time, Pippen, <>, chose to vent his frustration in an interview, first complimenting LeBron James, who rose to the NBA's all-time leading scorer this year. "He's going to be the greatest player ever statistically, and there's no room for comparison," the legendary forward said of the Lakers' veteran star. I'll leave it open for discussion."
Pippen then addressed Jordan Bulls' first three years without him, sending a sting: "I don't believe there's such a thing as a great player because our game is a team, one player can't accomplish things alone. I saw Jordan play before I came to the Bulls, you saw him, he was a terrible player. It was terrible to play alongside him, all one-on-one drills and bad shots. All of a sudden when I arrived we became a team and started winning, everyone forgot who he was."
Pippen won six NBA championships in an illustrious career that also included two Olympic gold medals, seven All-Star appearances, seven All-Star appearances and ten All-Defensive Teams. His jersey number of 33 was retired by the Bulls, and last year he was included in the list of the 75 greatest players in league history.
