Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were a lethal duo for the Chicago Bulls of the 90s. They won six championships together and were virtually undefeated until the retirement of jersey number 23. However, there have always been ego problems between the two, but have only been more intense in the last three years.
Since the Netflix series "The Last Dance" aired, Pippen, who apparently wants the respect he deserves, has attacked Jordan on several occasions, with another coming this weekend.
"Until I arrived, he was a terrible player. You saw how he would play. He was terrible," Pippen tweeted mercilessly about Jordan, not stopping at those words. "He would insist on playing alone, one-on-one, and take bad shots."
What made Jordan so great? Pippen has a clear answer. "From the moment we started playing together, like a team, we started winning," Pippen hinted that without him, Jordan wouldn't have become the greatest.

Pippen found another way to make Jordan smaller. "LeBron James will retire from the game as the statistically greatest player," jersey No. 33 quipped, using a statistical word to avoid making an unequivocal statement about who is the greatest. He also added: "Who is the greatest? I leave this argument to others."

In what felt like settling scores, Pippen added: "Everyone forgot, but wins weren't on Jordan's mind, he just wanted to be at the top of the scorers' list. It wasn't until Phil Jackson joined that he changed everything, and although it took time it worked out for us as a team. They didn't show that in the documentary series."
