For those who have already forgotten, last Tuesday Beitar Jerusalem won the State Cup at the end of a stormy game in which the hoisting ceremony was postponed by more than a day after thousands of fans broke into the field at Sammy Ofer.
The person who continued the festivities, which began in Haifa – continued at the president's residence – and ended in Jerusalem's Scar Park, is David Amsalem. The Minister of Regional Cooperation, who arrived at the cabinet meeting with a cup holder's scarf around his neck.

Either way, Amsalem sounded a little confused and ignorant of the details, telling surprised reporters: "We took the championship, we passed the budget, now thank God everything is fine. Unlike Ehud Barak who wore a sock hat in London in the winter, I also come in the summer with the Beitar scarf."

At the ceremony of handing over the trophy to Jerusalem at the President's House, Isaac Herzog said: "The violent scenes that we all saw and experienced in the cup final, starting with the wrestling at the beginning of the game and during it, and especially at the end of the game – during the medal and cup awarding ceremony – caused us to be unable to award the State Cup to the team that won on the pitch.
