The Premier League season will come to an end tonight (Sunday) with all ten matches of the 38th round taking place. Manchester City have already been crowned champions and with them will play in the Champions League next season Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle, Liverpool and Brighton have also secured their tickets to the Europa League and now there remains the struggle for the Conference League and of course the struggle for survival against relegation - Everton, Leicester City and Leeds United, of which only one will remain in the top division.

Leeds vs Tottenham Hotspur 1:0 (half-time)

One team is fighting for its life, the other is trying to avoid a season without a European campaign. Leeds have picked up just five points in their last ten matches and the appointment of Sam Allardyce earlier this month came too late, so even if they win they will not depend on themselves, but will have to hope for defeats by Leicester City and Everton to stay in the league. Tottenham are also in a major crisis - not only have the team won a total of two games from the last ten, but the management is also struggling to find a manager for next season and as we know, Harry Kane's future is shrouded in uncertainty and it is not inconceivable that this will be his last appearance for the Roosters, despite the opposition of owner Daniel Levy to sell him. If Tottenham win, they will need Aston Villa's stumble to finish seventh heading into the conference.

Leicester vs West Ham United 0:1 (half-time)

Like Leeds, the Foxes are not self-reliant – to stay in the Premier League they will need Everton not to beat Bournemouth, with a draw for the Toffees enough to stay if they win. Leicester have lost only twice in their last six matches, but have won only once in that sequence and their six points out of 18 were not enough to get out of the red line. On Monday they did come back with a point from Newcastle, but it didn't help them too much when you consider that a win would have left them hanging on to themselves in the battle for survival with Everton and Leeds. West Ham have already secured their stay and manager David Moyes will use the upcoming game to prepare his players for the Conference League final against Fiorentina on June 7.

Everton FC vs Bournemouth 0:0 (half-time)

Sean Ditch was named manager of the Toffees four months ago with the aim of keeping them in the league. On the eve of the final round, Everton depend on themselves - a victory over Bournemouth who have already secured their stay and will survive in the Premier League for another season. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is absent and this is a major disadvantage for the hosts, who will also try to cope with the fact that they have lost to Bournemouth in their last three matches - in November the teams met twice in four days, in the League Cup and the league, and Bournemouth won 1-4 and 0-3 at home respectively.

Brentford vs Manchester City (English celebration on Sport1)

Manchester City have already won a third consecutive title and Pep Guardiola has included many of the bench players and the squad in the last two games, but next Saturday he will meet Manchester United in the FA Cup final and the following Saturday he will play Inter Milan in the Champions League final, so the meeting with Brentford is a general return for the Citizens. Guardiola stated at his press conference that he would come up with the strongest line-up at his disposal as part of his preparation for the FA Cup final, but ultimately left Erling Haaland, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Rodri on the bench, in addition to John Stones who suffered a minor blow against Brighton, with Kevin De Bruyne not in the squad. Brentford are not self-reliant and their chances are extremely low, but if they stun the champions and at the same time Villa and Tottenham lose, they will qualify for the Conference League qualifiers.

Arsenal vs Wolves

The Gunners had an amazing season, for the most part leading the table, but gave up in the end in the fight against Manchester City, who galloped to the championship. Arsenal will finish second and it will be their last chance to say goodbye to the crowd that propelled them to a peak season for them after decades of struggling to feel part of the top. Wolves did their part by securing their stay, and this could be the last game for manager Julen Lopetegui, who was just appointed at the beginning of November and has a contract for next season.

Manchester United vs Fulham FC (Sport4)

The Red Devils have won the League Cup, next Saturday they will play at Wembley against Manchester City in the FA Cup final and in the league they will finish third if they do not lose points at home against the Cottagers. Manager Erik ten Hag admitted it was important for him to finish the season with a home win, United in general throughout the season had a fantastic record at Old Trafford thanks to 14 wins, three draws and a lone defeat in the league, but also noted that he was worried about losing more players after Thursday's 1-4 win over Chelsea injured Antony who will not play again this season and defender Luke Shaw who is unlikely to be included and will be rested for the cup final. At Fulham, Manor Solomon has not been given the starting shirt and will be hoping to come off the bench for what could be his last minutes at Fulham.

Aston Villa vs Brighton

Brighton honestly secured a point in their home game against Manchester City on Wednesday and secured qualification for the Europa League. She will finish sixth anyway. Aston Villa, on the other hand, are still fighting for their ticket to Europe and are dependent on themselves - a win over the Seagulls and Unai Emery's side will finish seventh and participate in the Conference League qualifiers. If Villa get a point or lose, they will have to hope Tottenham and Brentford lose. In the last game, Villa came back with a point from Anfield and against Liverpool you could certainly see how determined the players are to secure a European season, so they will hope to continue their unbeaten streak to Brighton that has lasted since November 2020 and will of course hope to win and complete the task.

Chelsea vs Newcastle United

Newcastle have secured their return to the Champions League after 20 years and now all they have to do is try to finish third. They lost him to Manchester United following the draw with Leicester City on Monday and need United's stumble against Fulham to have any chance of returning. Chelsea were humiliated (again) on Thursday when they were beaten 4-1 by Manchester United and are hoping to win for only the second time since Lampard was appointed in the first week of April, although it will not be enough to avoid finishing at the bottom of the table for the first time since 1996. The injured Mason Mount has not been included in the squad, so it is possible that we will not see him again for Chelsea, amid reports that he is inclined to move to Manchester United and Liverpool in his wake.

Southampton vs Liverpool (Sport3)

Southampton will finish last in the table and next season will play in the Championship for the first time since 2011/12, while Liverpool will finish fifth and will have to settle for the Europa League. When asked about this, Jurgen Klopp said: "What difference does it make if you play on Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday? What matters is that we are in Europe," an answer Mohamed Salah and his team-mates who were disappointed to stay out of the Champions League may not like. Klopp has made a number of changes to the line-up, including bringing on James Milner and Roberto Firmino for whom this is their last game for the team.
