Recap: Juventus vs AC Milan 1:0 (Sport1)
The 37th and penultimate round of the Italian league closed on Sunday evening with five matches, centered on a huge meeting of great importance between two old rivals - Juventus and Milan, which the Rossoneri won and secured their place in the Champions League. The Bianconeri, who are trying to recover from the ten point deduction, must win to maintain any chance of securing a place in the top 4 and a ticket to the Champions League, while leaving out the Old Lady. Napoli drew 2-2 with Bologna, Verona conceded in the 96th minute and missed a chance to get over the red line, while Lecce ensured they stayed with a goal in the 101st minute.

Juventus vs AC Milan 1:0
After suffering a major blow in the form of a 4-1 defeat to Empoli last term, following the announcement of a 10-point deduction from their balance sheet, Juventus suffered another painful blow tonight as they were finally left out of the Champions League next season. To stand a chance, they had to beat the outgoing champions, but it was Milan who secured their place in Europe's top factory thanks to a winning goal from Olivier Giroud (40) that saw the Rossoneri finish in the top four. Coach Stefano Pioli is five games unbeaten against Juve. Massimiliano Allegri and his players will hope to overtake Roma or Atalanta in the final round to qualify for the Europa League and not settle for the Conference League.

Bologna vs Napoli 2:2
The Neapolitans' championship tour across the boot country continued, and this time the new champions had to settle for one point in their last away game of the season. Victor Osimhen brought the visitors closer to victory with a pair (10 and 54), but the hosts came back with goals from Lewis Ferguson (63) and Lorenzo De Silvestri (84). This ensured that Bologna would finish the season without a single home defeat to a top-7 team in the table.

Monza - Lecce 1:0
The guest secured another season in the top division thanks to a dramatic victory over one of the surprises of the season in Italy. The hosts missed a chance to take the lead in the 84th minute when Vladimiro Falcone stopped a Christian Gitkjaer penalty. Lorenzo Colombo punished, and with a precise penalty in the 101st minute set up three sweet points.

Verona vs Empoli 1:1
The host missed a huge opportunity to rise above the red line one round to finish, and will now reach the lockout cycle below the red line and not dependent on herself. Adolfo Gaic scored for Verona in the 61st minute, but Empoli, effectively ending the season, rescued a dramatic point from a Petar Stojanovic goal in the 96th minute. Verona are now equal in points to Spezia above the red line, but are behind on goal difference. Verona will host AC Milan in the final round, while self-reliant Spezia will host Roma.
