Sad tidings. Beitar Jerusalem announced on Monday morning the untimely death of the team's fan, 7-year-old Rafael Matan Shloche, who died of cancer.
Last Thursday, immediately after winning the State Cup, captain Ofir Krief, together with Uri Dahan and Meir Harush, arrived at Shaare Zedek Hospital to visit Rafael.
Raphael passed away last night, leaving behind his parents, dear David and Racheli, and brothers Lishi, Shoham and Shahar. His funeral took place in the evening, and the grieving family sits shiva at 7 Harav Kadoorie Street, Har Homa.
