Barak Behar was introduced on Monday as the new coach of Red Star Belgrade and jokingly said at the press conference that he agreed to sign only after club chiefs promised him a match against Novak Djokovic. Harry Bachar is a well-known tennis fan.
Today, after reaching the second round at Roland Garros, Djokovic was asked about it by Serbian journalists and replied with a smile: "No one from Red Star approached me." He added: "Now seriously, I congratulate Behar on his arrival and wish him and football success. We have a representative in the Champions League and that's the goal of everything. We deserve it."
The tennis legend continued: "I haven't met Behar, but we have a mutual friend who lives in Tel Aviv. He sent me a picture of himself meeting with the heads of the Red Planet and then I knew he would come, even though it wasn't official yet. I wish Becher all the success in the world, for him and the team, and for them to get through the group stage of the Champions League."

Barak Bachar looked excited at today's tour and said: "It's nice to see new faces. When a club as big as Red Star with such a history offers me to coach him, it's hard to refuse. I was in the club's museum, I saw the respect they have here for past stars. It's a big club. Sitting next to boss Terzich, who came to Israel twice for me, I saw how many wanted me. They know everything about me. Even where I was born and that I love tennis.
"I think we can do beautiful things together. I know this club dominates the domestic league. But my main goal and that of the club is to do great things in the Champions League. For me this is the second time I will coach in the group stage. I am excited and believe I will bring my DNA to this club. An offensive club that attacks and presses. I can't wait to work here."
