Waiting for good news. The representatives of Sergio Rico, the PSG goalkeeper who suffered a serious accident, gave an update on Sunday on the condition of the Spaniard, who is suffering from a serious head injury.
As you may recall, Rico was hit in the head when he fell from a horse in his homeland. He is currently hospitalized in serious condition in Seville, with the severity of the injury still unknown.
The goalkeeper's representatives said yesterday: "Sergio Rico flew last night (between Saturday and Sunday) from Strasbourg to Malaga and from there to El Rocío, with the approval of PSG after winning the championship. After an hour and a half with his family and friends, he was involved in an accident in which a horse fleeing from a mule wagon hit him."
Regarding his condition, they said: "He is in good hands, fighting to recover and receiving the best treatment. We need to be careful in the next 48 hours. We are waiting for positive developments so that we can update and announce an improvement in his condition. Thank you all for your support."
