Will Karim Benzema join Cristiano Ronaldo and play next season in the Saudi league? Real Madrid are trying behind the scenes to extend the contract of their top scorer and Ballon d'Or holder, but the club suspects Benzema has a huge offer from a Saudi team willing to pay him no less than €200 million for two years.
It is not yet clear which team he is, but if Benzema does leave it would be a fatal blow to the club, with the Frenchman being the only striker in his squad and holding him in terms of goals since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. Even this season, despite suffering from several injuries and making just 23 league appearances, Benzema proudly leads the club's scoring chart with 18 goals.

Since joining the club back in 2009, the Frenchman has scored double-digit league goals in 12 of his 14 seasons at White. Last season was the best season of his career and he led the team to a spectacular double with decisive goals on the way to winning the Champions League and 27 league goals to help the team win the championship.
