Munich – After FC Bayern's last-minute championship is before the supervisory board meeting. On Tuesday, the course for the future will be set at the Allianz Arena. The most important personnel decisions have already been made before the meeting.

FC Bayern sets course for the future: Kahn and Salihamidzic already dismissed
Just a few minutes after the last Bundesliga game of the season in Cologne and the eleventh league title in a row, FC Bayern announced the dismissals of CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. While Brazzo's dismissal was "amicable", there was a lot of fuss about Kahn – there was even talk of a freak out.
With former CFO Jan-Christian Dreesen, Kahn's successor as CEO has already been determined. A Brazzo successor is still being sought, most recently, according to tz information, there were thought games about Michael Reschke, who could help out as a 3-month solution. The supervisory board was supposed to meet on May 22 at the end of the season, but due to the close championship fight, the meeting was postponed to May 30.

Then it should also be the future of Kahn and Salihamidzic, which FC Bayern has now already anticipated. The eight-member Supervisory Board will meet in the early evening, probably at 17.30 p.m., in a box at the Allianz Arena and deliberate on the basis of the Board of Management's report. That's why Munich's football temple will be closed at 16 p.m. on this day, after which no more visits to the FC Bayern Museum will be possible. The popular arena tours will also no longer be offered.
In addition to President Herbert Hainer, Bayern icon and honorary president Uli Hoeneß, former Bavarian Prime Minister Edmund Stoiber, Dieter Mayer (1st Vice President of the association), Werner Zedelius (Allianz), Thorsten Langheim (Telekom), Markus Duesmann (Audi) and Jan Heinemann (Adidas) are also members of the committee.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge about to return: Ex-boss proposed for supervisory board
The FCB supervisory board, which actually consists of nine people – but one position is currently vacant after the departure of Michael Diederich – is an important authority, especially with regard to major sporting decisions made by the Munich team. This applies not only to the club's absolute management staff, the supervisory board must also approve all transfers over 20 million euros, for example. Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is to take the vacant place in order to bring in more football expertise, especially after the dismissals of Kahn and Salihamidzic.
"At the Supervisory Board meeting of the Shareholders' Meeting, we will propose that Karl-Heinz Rummenigge be appointed to the Supervisory Board," said Chairman of the Supervisory Board Hainer. The 71-year-old Hoeneß led the club for a long time together with Rummenigge, who was chairman of the board for almost two decades. During his term of office, for example, the triple profits in 2013 and 2020 fell. Two years ago, Rummenigge vacated his post prematurely for successor Kahn.

"Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has made an incredible contribution to this club. He has an incredible amount of football expertise. We also want to make greater use of this again.
