Recap: Maccabi Netanya - Hapoel Be'er Sheva 2:0 (Sport1)
Hatem Abdel Hamid returns to Hapoel Be'er Sheva. The club decided to bring back the defender after he was loaned last season to Hapoel Haifa, with the clear aim of fighting for all the titles next season and recognizing that Alhamid is a significant factor that can help the team in various competitions, including once again securing a ticket to the group stage of the Conference League.
Alhamid has a contract for another season at the club, but Hapoel Haifa wanted him for next season and other teams were also interested in adding him. The owner of Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Alona Barkat, decided that there was no room to discuss his loan for another season and that she wanted him to return to the team, and perhaps even stay for many more years afterwards.

Alhamid had a personal problem during the season and needed an extended stay in the north alongside his mother, and in the end, at his request, he was released on loan to Hapoel Haifa. Now things have changed and the defender also intends to return to the team with which he won the championship and the State Cup in the past.
The one who should of course continue in the centre of defence next season is Miguel Vitor. The two have collaborated in the past, but Hapoel Be'er Sheva has other options, such as Iyad Abu Obeid, who returns from a long injury that sidelined him for several months and is scheduled to return to the squad for pre-season training.
