FC Bayern defended the title at the last moment. However, the focus is on the board quake. Now Kahn's brother is speaking out.
Munich – While FC Bayern fans are gathering at Marienplatz and want to celebrate a double championship, the record champions are bubbling in the background. Oliver Kahn has been relieved of his duties at FC Bayern, as has Hasan Salihamidzic. But Salihamidzic was still present at the internal championship celebration. Kahn was probably forbidden to do so.

Kahn was already absent from the stands in Bayern's win against Cologne
Already at the game in Cologne, fans and journalists had searched in vain for Kahn in the stands. Officially, Kahn was absent from the flu. However, Kahn refuted this reasoning at Bild. "I was banned from travelling to the game in Cologne and attending the championship celebration by the club."
How much the club's decision had affected him, Kahn revealed to Sky. "That was the worst day of my life, taking it away from me to celebrate with the boys." The former national goalkeeper is now supported by his brother.

Kahn's brother Axel supports his brother and shoots against Hoeneß
Axel Kahn writes on Facebook: "Fight for your rights! Decisions are usually associated with arguments. There are also those in this case. However, you definitely have to question them and who is ultimately responsible for them." And then Axel Kahn clearly expresses who he explicitly means with his criticism and does not stop at big names.
"Someone definitely has a responsibility. Namely, the one who brought Brazzo, Oliver and Herbert Hainer into this club and installed them. That was and is Uli Hoeneß! And the fact that the manner is disrespectful, disgusting and cowardly is nothing new at FC Bayern Munich," Axel Kahn said.
Hamann had previously criticised FC Bayern
Axel Kahn is not the first to publicly criticize FC Bayern for its actions. Didi Hamann said Kahn and Salihamidzic "did not deserve" such an expulsion. "To put that through a minute or five minutes later after winning the championship is unworthy," the ex-professional expressed his incomprehension. In addition to Hamann, other ex-professionals reacted with criticism. (jo)
