9:50 - Jerome Mainsey extends contract at Ironi Ness Ziona
After announcing that Elad Hussein will be on the sidelines next season as well, Ironi Ness Ziona announced today (Tuesday) continuity in the squad, with team captain Jerome Mainsey extending his contract and playing in orange for the 23/24 season, as first reported by Israel Hayom.
For Mainsey (34, 2.08) this will be his third season in orange and second in a row, after also playing for the club in the 2020/21 season and was a significant part of winning the Eurocup. He is the third foreign player in Orange history to appear in their uniform in three different seasons, after Mitchell Watt and Daquan Cook.
