SpVgg Attenkirchen can't take advantage of their own chances in the game against TSV Neubeuern – as is so often the case, the opponent then strikes ice-cold.
Attenkirchen – In a balanced game, SpVgg lacked coldness in front of goal. On home turf, they were defeated by the guests of TSV Neubeuern with a narrow 0:1 (0:0).
Striker Verena Kiermeier had the best chance of the first half in the tenth minute: after a long ball, she stood alone in front of the goal, but her shot went over. After that, the well-known problem occurred. "Nobody dares to shoot," regretted SpVgg kicker Alexandra Kiermeier. Again and again, their girls lost important second balls, and they were always one step too late. After the break, it was Eva Lachner who took the lead this time: after a ball from Lisa-Marie Festner, however, she scored directly into the arms of the goalkeeper.

The guests made the threesome clear with their first opportunity. At 1-0, an individual mistake by the Attenkirchen defence was exploited by Neubeuern's Sofia Empl. "It wasn't an outstanding game from either side," said Kiermeier, who missed communication on the pitch. For them, it is therefore particularly important in the last game of the season against SG Otterfing/Holzkirchen (Saturday, 17 June, 17 p.m.) "that the coolness returns, that we are calm on the ball and take our chances". fk
